WORKDAY at the Men’s Camp
Summary for November 13 & 14, 2021 Work Day
122 Pace Road
Thank you to everyone that came to help us. We were able to accomplish many things but there is still more to be done.
A master carpenter was on site Saturday morning and let us know that the pantry should be replaced. So we used the donated metal siding to do a temporary enclosure.
But, GOD IS SO GOOD! We have a replacement for this building. There is a donated two-story 12 x 16 Tuff Shed that would be perfect. Also donated were 2 other sheds, 8×8 metal and 10×12 Tuff Shed, that would be put to good use too.
CRITICAL NEED: We need help moving all sheds to the camp. Do you have a flat bed with an arm to lift and place sheds of this size? PLEASE let us know!
Here are other things that we hope can be done. More workdays will be planned. We’d appreciate any help you can give us.
-Insulate and finish out the shed when it arrives.
-Continue to cut, split, stack wood so men have enough for the cold season.
-Purchase Army tents, spread with polyurethane for weatherproofing and place on permanent platforms.
-Build a chicken coop.
-Water purification system installation to move pond water to a donated storage tank for showers, toilets.
-Run electricity to sheds and tents (Master Electrician available but we need more materials and help.)
