provides assistance to Brown Street members and to the community at large who are in need of food, clothing, and hygiene products, and to victims of natural disasters throughout the country.
Serves anyone in need at a reduced cost; open T, W, Th from 10am-4pm.
We fulfill our mission by
providing food, clothing, and financial (rent/mortgage, and TXU utility bills) assistance to families in crisis who live in Alma, Avalon, Bardwell, Bristol, Ennis, Garrett, Palmer, and Rockett.
Assistance is subject to the qualification of clients, and utility
providers involved. Does not provide rental for motels.
Serves meals on Wednesday evenings.
Manna House assists with food,clothing , prescriptions and TXU utility bills as well as other physical, emotional and spiritual needs to those in Midlothian (zip code 76065 and the Midlothian Independent School District) who are in crisis.
Provides food and clothing; household items are provided by vouchers.
North Ellis County Outreach is a non-profit Christian organization that offers assistance to people in need throughout our community with food, rent, clothing, utilities and life skills classes. We presently serve the residents of 75154 and 75125 zip code areas.
Distributes free boxes of food one Saturday a month.
No requirements. Just drive through and pick up your box.
Food distribution: 3rd Saturday of the month from 9:30-11:30 at the Maypearl Fire Station. Also delivers to 2 area churches in Waxahachie.
Must fill out an application once/year.
As funds are available, they could help with emergency rent, utility assistance, food pantry and a heat relief station.
Provides food and financial assistance to our neighbors in need in a designated area. We strive to be the caring neighbor in Ellis County.

Open 24/7 & free to anyone in need; you can drop off items or take items.
The Good Samaritan Project
furnishes lunch the 3rd Wed. of each month at this location.
